D=36.5 mm, Dial ETA 2824-2, black matt guilloch, luminous figures, Date on 3

In person this is a beautiful dial. I dropped the rating half a point because to be perfect the numerals would be metal instead of being painted, it would be double or triple sunk and finished with a grand-feu enamel. Unfortunately the perfect dial would run for about $2500 U.S. For less than 25€ it’s perfect. It was exactly what I was looking for to make my latest project stand out. The texturing of the dial is sharp and reminiscent of a guilloche dial. The concentric rings give it a sunburst effect in the light. I married mine to blue sword hour and minute hand, though I can’t decide on the best sweep second hand. A green or blue lightening bolt is tempting.
